Park Meadows Mall
Denver, CO
completed 1997
The entry facade of this 210,000 sq. ft. anchor department store south of Denver reinterprets the traditional store window archetype by incorporating a 250 ft.-wide wall of glass, capturing dramatic views into the store and out toward the surrounding Rocky Mountains. The glazing has a ceramic fritted surface which is progressively more dense toward the top to help mitigate sunlight shining directly on the merchandise.
